Silvia Cappelli, ASSOVIB Vicepresident, joins the European Valuation Standards Board (EVSB), the body that has the task to draft and update the European Valuation Standards (EVS) within TEGoVA. This appointment is a recognition of the association’s commitment to make the Italian real estate appraisal market more qualified and transparent in alignment with European and international standards. This is also an acknowledgment of the contribution that ASSOVIB can make to the definition of pan-European standards. Since 2010 ASSOVIB has provided its significant support to the Italian Banking Association (ABI) for the drafting of “Guidelines for property assessment as guarantees for credit exposure”.

Attending the European Valuation Standards Board, ASSOVIB will now effectively take an active and concrete role in the definition of real estate valuation European standards, contributing with the Italy’s appraisal Companies perspective.
